The Digital Technology Team (DTT) is responsible for configuration, managing development, managing interfaces in and out of various eCommerce systems and managing the regional template for these systems and any regional digital solutions.  Also responsible for application change management and system governance.  Key partners include the local (country-specific) IT Demand teams for digital, and the DTT will serve as SPOC to the digital business for other IT teams – including, but not limited to other functional teams, basis, infrastructure and security.

 

The IT Project Project Manager will:

  • be our internal clients’ first and direct contact for all project-related matters
  • manage projects from A to Z, including the internal clients, partners (if applicable),
    budget, scope and quality of the deliverables
  • keep your team on track
  • keep the internal non-agile touchpoints informed about progress and timelines
  • assist your team in the priorisation of development of new concepts
  • monitor the quality and duration of each project step
  • maintain a long-term relationship with your internal stakeholders
  • manage expectations of internal stakeholders

 

Project Management:

  • Manage the agile project lifecycles
  • Manage resource planning
  • Manage scope control and change management
  • Manage the synchronisation of plannings with non-agile touchpoints

 

Communication:

  • Ensure transparent communication around project status towards all stakeholders inside and outside of the Digital Technology Team
  • Ensure regular and transparent communication with non-agile IT supply organisation

 

Budget:

Manage project budget control and communicate feedback to primary stakeholders
Master Degree in Information Technology sciences or any other discipline of technical orientation.

  • Proven education and/or experience in hybris platform will be considered a strong asset.
  • Master degree and/or additional education in business administration disciplines will be considered a strong asset.
  • Agile certification or equivalent experience is a big asset

 

Experience


Mandatory
prior experience of minimum 5 years in a related work experience, in a complex (distributed) environment.

  • Mandatory Experience with digital projects with a strong preference for ecommerce projects, for at least 3 years
  • Experience in the retail/digital environment preferred
  • Be able to demonstrate where you have successfully managed a project and be able to show what the benefits of that implementation were
  • Experience of Java web application development projects will be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience on a full hybris implementation cycle will be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience and very good knowledge of Agile methods (e.g. Scrum) will be considered a strong asset.
  • Proven experience in working with near-shore teams.
  • Knowledge and experience of major ERP and CRM systems and how they are used in an eCommerce / omnichannel implementation (SAP Retail and Retalix suite a plus).
  • Effective in delivering presentations and running meetings and/or workshops.

CONTEXT OF THE POSITION

 

The hybris Project Manager coordinates a team of Project Analysts and is primarily responsible for the overall planning, coordination, control and delivery of the Company’s projects. The hybris Project Manager will work with the local IT and business departments within the operating countries, and lead the project teams to define the high level requirements scope and for managing that scope throughout the project.

 

The position will require traveling up to 30% depending on the nature and the duration of the assigned projects/work.
