Hi-Tech / App-Based Solution Sales

Exciting, yet established, London-based start-up is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their London team.  This funded technology venture has grown well since inception and now seeks the services of an experienced Sales Professional to work closely with the founder who desires to take ownership of all sales activity within the organisation.  

In relation to the Business Development Manager role you will:

  • Work closely with founder to create strategic sales plan(s)
  • Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Proactively contact cold and warm prospects
  • Arrange and attend ‘chemistry’ meetings
  • Understand where our services might fit within potential businesses and consult appropriately
  • Work with the team to prepare solution ideas if needed
  • Create proposals by working closely with the team
  • Identify new opportunities in the market
  • Create and lead sales presentations
  • Close sales
  • Manage client accounts
  • Network within existing clients
  • Network at external events



  • Educated to degree level
  • Minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience
  • Takeaway & restaurant sector experience and understanding of technology specific to industry
  • Proven track record of signing up merchants for previous employers
  • Deep network of contacts within UK takeaway & restaurant sector
  • Hungry, driven and self motivated
